More Boudoir!

Boudoir photography is so fun!  I love working with women and helping them produce beautiful, classy images for themselves or their partners.  It's all about the posing and photographer of course!  But when it comes to posing I have been on the other side of the camera for years so I have a lot of experience in knowing how to help women pose.  Here are some of my favorites from this shoot over the weekend.

Wedding at William E. Walker Recreation Center

I photographed a wedding at the William E. Walker Recreation Center in Foster City. I got some great photos with the bridal party even though it was rather cold and windy..it all worked out!

This shoot was the brides idea and I think it turned out really cute!

The perfect jump!

Capturing the emotions of the wedding day is one of the most important jobs as a wedding photographer. Rather than posing people, I like to focus on what is happening and what people are feeling.

A cross processing effect gives this image a more creative look which I think makes this photo more interesting.

I love when couples have fun with the cake cutting ritual!

Ashley's Maternity Photos

Black and White images are so classic for maternity portraits. They are simple yet timeless and beautiful. I love these ones from Ashley's shoot!

Boudoir/Pin Up Photos

In the name of Valentine's Day we have kicked off an amazing deal through Trubates.com for a Boudoir shoot for only $89! This one is little more of a Pin Up than Boudoir, but the line is very gray.  Melissa just likes the Pin Up style, but a true boudoir can be a combination of lingerie that is retro or contemporary.  It is all up to what you want to do.

New Things with Amoreena Photography

Exciting new developments with Amoreena Photography for 2012! Amoreena has started up a Child/Family only Photography Blog called Bay Area Child Photography.  This blog will be focused on just Child Photography, Infant Photography, and Family Photography. Since becoming a mom within the last year Amoreena has had the opportunity to do more and more infant and toddler photography and found great enjoyment in it!

Amoreena Photography has upgraded their equipment!  Yey!  All photographers will be shooting 100% with L-series lenses and Canon Mark II cameras.  We have been fortunate to have access to most of this gear throughout the years, but now all of us will be shooting 100% with the best, even second shooters!

Since Amoreena's parents have relocated to San Diego, Amoreena Photography will also be servicing the San Diego area with weddings, events, and portraits.  Find out when Amoreena will be in the area next for portrait sessions or schedule your event/wedding (for events/weddings there is no travel charge) with Amoreena this year.

Lucie Stern Wedding

Amoreena Photography was at it again...at Lucie Stern. This is the 4th time we have photographed a wedding at this location in Palo Alto.  It is great, we love it!  The trees, architecture, and beautiful banquet room is great for weddings!  I highly recommend the Lucie Stern Community Center as a venue for weddings.  Here are some favorites!
